Poor Peoples United Fund

Celia Wolf
Organizational Development Coordinator

Celia has been actively involved in human rights and social services since she was a child growing up in a small town outside of Chicago. She began her fundraising activities at the age of 5 when she raised $5.00 for the Salvation Army at her corner lemonade stand, and throughout her youth, she continued her fundraising activities producing neighborhood talent shows, organizing car washes and food drives, and producing musical concerts. During her college years at the University of Colorado, where she majored in sociology, Celia worked as a volunteer at a juvenile delinquent home, and she has been doing volunteer work and supporting non-profit human and social services organizations ever since. In 1980, Celia met Kip Tiernan and Fran Froehlich when she was a volunteer at Rosie's Place, and in 2001 she joined them at PPUF, working on organizational development, and project planning and production. Celia is a founding member of the Ethical Policy Project.

Celia has over thirty-five years experience in entrepreneurial business development, operations management, and marketing across a broad range of industries and markets. During the course of her career she has held key management positions at several large corporations, including the Gillette Company, the Bose Corporation, Field Enterprises, and Scott Foresman & Company educational publishers. Since 1980 she has been focused on providing business process development, marketing and operations solutions for software product and services vendor and user organizations.

In addition to her work at PPUF, Celia is currently the CEO/Publisher of Business Process Trends, an internet portal, and CEO/Principal Consultant of Enterprise Alignment, a professional services consulting company.
